3-A-Day

The 3-A-Day of Dairy for Stronger Bones campaign was designed to address America's low calcium intake, a major public health concern. In addition, 3-A-Day of Dairy recognizes the importance of moderating dietary fat intake.

National Dairy Council’s 3-A-Day of Dairy Advisory Panel

The American Academy of Family Physicians, American Academy of Pediatrics, American Dietetic Association and the National Medical Association support 3-A-Day of Dairy for stronger bones and better bodies.

Representatives from these organizations make up an advisory panel that helps guide the 3-A-Day of Dairy program, its nutrition, philosophy and principles.

Congratulations to Our 2006 3-A-Day of Dairy Nutrition Education Grant Winners

Since receiving their 3-A-Day of Dairy Nutrition Education $5,000 grants last year, the Elizabeth Forward Middle School and the Food Bank of Delaware have been busy putting their proposals into practice by encouraging kids to eat healthy and to be active. Here’s how they are promoting milk and dairy products in their programs:
