Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I used to contact my local Dairy Council for wonderful nutrition education materials. What happened to Dairy Council?
Answer: In 1998, Dairy Council Inc. in southeastern Pennsylvania and Dairy Council of Greater Metropolitan Washington, D.C., merged with their promotion and advertising agency, Middle Atlantic Milk Marketing Association, to form Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association.
Many of the same services the Dairy Councils offered, such as patient education materials, are still available to health professionals. Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association is headquartered in Philadelphia, with offices servicing the entire Mid-Atlantic region.Q: How do I contact the right Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association staff member to answer my question?
Answer: You can call our corporate headquarters in Philadelphia at 215-627-8800. Listen to the voice prompts carefully to connect to the right person or department. You can also contact us via e-mail at dairyspot@milk4u.org.
Q: Is either the Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association or Dairy Council government-funded?
Answer: No. Dairy Council, which is part of the Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association, is funded by local dairy farmers in the Mid-Atlantic region.
