The Griebel farm originated in 1895 with an 83 acre parcel. In 1946, the family began made the transition to a dairy farm. Presently, the farm has approximately 220 Holsteins cows and over 1,100 acres, comprised of soybeans, corn, alfalfa, and mixed hay.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The farm is owned in partnership with Alan and his wife, Susie, his brother, Rick, and their father, Joe and his wife, Clara. Other family members are involved, including Alan’s sister, Mary and Alan and Susie’s son, Ethan. The farm also has seven employees who help with the daily chores.
