For Flavor

Torani® Flavored Syrups
Traditionally used for Italian sodas, the Torani flavored syrups you see in coffeehouses today can be purchased in many grocery stores.

Torani syrups come in an array of flavors, such as Caramel, Raspberry, Hazelnut, Créme de Menthe, Orgeat (Almond), Vanilla and Blackberry, among many others. Torani also features sugar-free varieties and new, fun flavors such as Pumpkin Spice, Pomegranate and Cheesecake.

A good rule of thumb is to use 3 to 4 tablespoons (1 1/2 to 1 3/4 ounces) of Torani syrup per 1 cup of milk for flavor. Add syrup to cold milk, then steam.

Other Mix-In Ideas
Extracts (vanilla, almond, mint, etc.)
Honey
Maple syrup
Peanut butter
Cookie crumbles
Spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, pumpkin pie spice, etc.)
Flavored seltzers (similar to an egg cream!)

Going Further
For a finishing touch, top steamer with whipped cream, cocoa powder, candy sprinkles, mint, cinnamon sticks or brown sugar.

If you can't give up your morning cup of "joe," simply add brewed coffee or espresso to the flavored steamed milk. You've just made a flavored latte!

Try your favorite steamer recipe chilled over ice! (Skip the steam and go for the "rocks" instead.)
