Cows Take Center Stage at Hershey's® Chocolate World® Attraction:
Online Contest to Choose Cow's Names

PHILADELPHIA (February 21, 2006) - The chocolate making tour ride at Hershey's® Chocolate World® attraction, where nearly 3 million visitors annually learn about the magic of making chocolate, will soon have a new central attraction - animated dairy cows!

The tour currently is undergoing a $5 million renovation that will showcase milk as one of the main ingredients in Hershey's world famous chocolate. A highlight of the updated ride will be a trio of amazingly interactive and entertaining cows. And from now through March 14, cow-lovers can visit a special contest Web site, www.gotcownames.com, to help choose names for the three beautiful bovines that will help explain the chocolate-making process.

The cow-naming contest is a cooperative effort between Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association, the dairy farmer-funded check-off program, and Hershey's Chocolate World attraction. The crooning cows will proudly point out that wholesome milk has been an indispensable ingredient in Hershey's milk chocolate for more than a century.

"We are excited to be a part of this project to help Hersheys Chocolate World visitors learn why milk is an important ingredient in the chocolate-making process," said Joyce Bupp, a York County dairy farmer and member of the Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association board of directors. "We are also pleased to be able to showcase Pennsylvania's dairy industry and the care dairy farmers provide for their cows each and every day."

The grand prize winner in the "got cow names?" contest will receive a three-day, two-night stay at Rocky Acre Farm Bed and Breakfast located in Lancaster County, tickets to Hershey attractions and a "got milk?" gift basket. The winner will also have the opportunity to be the first to experience the new tour at the grand opening on April 1. In addition, all contest entrants will receive a coupon for "buy-one, get-one-free" chocolate milk at the Chocolate World attraction.
