Fuel Up to Play 60
Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association and the National Dairy Council® have joined with the National Football League to help students eat right and stay active with Fuel Up to Play 60.
Mt. Nittany Middle School hosts the Pajama Games
While the spotlight was on Vancouver, host city of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, Mt. Nittany Middle School in State College, Pa., hosted the Pajama Games. Fuel Up to Play 60 advisors Jane Stanton and Robin Bastress and their student team invited students to return to school in their pajamas to play dodge ball, volleyball with three Lady Lions, ping pong, knock out, four square, jump roping and hacky sack. The event featured a hula hoop contest and line dancing and contra dancing with live music. The team also set up two Wii Fits. The event featured healthy snacks, and everyone who attended received a prize. According to mascots Ike the Spike and the Little Lion, a good time was had by all!
