Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association Promotes Milk in Single-serve Plastic Bottles
School marketing team members recently attended a Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs game to promote the benefits of milk. Fans who purchased an 8-ounce bottle of milk and returned the empty container to the Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association table received a pink or brown got bottled milk? backpack. Janette Carpentier, vice-president, school marketing, and Carla Sakson, school marketing manager, were on hand to meet and greet fans.
In addition to games and prizes, Carpentier and Sakson discussed the advantages of adding plastic packaging and multiple milk flavors to school meal programs. Althea Zanecosky, communications consultant, conducted media interviews and threw out the first pitch. What an arm! The Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs is a Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies.
